Phat Panda produces a wide variety of strains with some interesting names and genetic combinations. I have not found a product from them that has not left me partially satisfied. When I purchased Golden Pineapple from Uncle Ando’s Wurld of Weed I had high expectations. This sativa dominant hybrid is a cross of Golden Goat and Pineapple Kush. I have previously reviewed Golden Goat and found myself pleasantly surprised with the high.
Golden Pineapple nugs are fluffy. A faint white frost coats the nugs. Patches of orange hairs appear throughout each bud. I inspected the nugs and immediately my nose was greeted by a heavy citrus smell. Their light green color is almost lost in the frost and orange hairs. Breaking open a nug coated my fingers with a light frost. I did not notice a more potent smell. However, the nugs did not crumble in my fingers. They felt fresh and well taken care of.
The flavor of this strain is absolutely amazing. The pineapple and banana flavor from my swisher paired extremely well. Each hit elevated my mood slowly. I felt invigorated. This will definitely be the strain that I take with me to the Seattle World Tour on Friday night.
