G3L Delivers Smooth Vocals and Powerful Lyrics With Release of “Make Up”

2019 has been a great year for independent music. We’re seeing artists collaborate more than ever before which has led to the creation of new artists and brands. A unique but very dope artist that recently came across our team is Seattle-based G3L.

A duo that specializes in blending multiple instruments with variations of electronic production and clean vocals, G3L is comprised of Gabriel Brooks-Lopez and Tyler Smith. They aim to paint stories through their music. Listening to just one song from these guys shows that they’re very aware of their sound and the direction their brand is aiming to go in.

G3L recently released “Make Up” on Spotify and other major streaming services. Thanks to some powerful lyrics, strong vocals from Tyler Smith, and a bit of much-needed bass, this track definitely had its own unique sound and feel.

From the artists:

Make Up aims to tell the story of a lover giving up their plans, dreams, and aspirations, instead, settling for the norm. With melodic undertones, unexpected drops, and a vibrant instrumental outro, “Make Up” hopes to inspire.

Does it make the cut to be added to one of our Spotify playlists? Listen to “Make Up” below and let us know what you think in the comments.
