2015 was the first time I saw G-Eazy perform here in Seattle. He had just left a smaller stage at Bumbershoot and was being driven on a golf cart to his artist area. Chasing after him was thousands of teens and young women. The best part of this whole scenario was that I legit had no idea who this dude even was until after the craziness.
Fast forward to 2018 and G-Eazy is arguably one of the hottest rap artists on the face of the Earth. That statement doesn’t get thrown out lightly by me either. When “Young Gerald” walks into a room or a stadium, the whole place becomes filled with life and an overwhelming energy takes over the crowd. Don’t believe me?
