G-Eazy and YG have had a huge 2018, and now they’ve dropped a new track titled “Endless Summer Freestyle.” After dropping his album The Beautiful & Damned last December and releasing shorter projects in 2018, he’s shown no signs of slowing down. The same can be said for YG with him dropping his album Stay Dangerous earlier this year.
The “Endless Summer Freestyle” is a respectful nod to G-Eazy’s 2011 mixtape The Endless Summer. The project had a unique sonic landscape, with 60’s era samples heard on most of the songs. The new freestyle also incorporates the same feel by sampling “Neki-Hokey”, as many of his fans have coined the track sounding like “vintage G-Eazy.” Listen for yourself below!
