After dropping the single “No Shame” back in May, Future and PARTYNEXTDOOR have released the visuals to the song that are vividly simplistic and thrillingly climatic at the same time. With the release of “No Shame,” it’s featured on the soundtrack of the movie “Superfly” – which will be released on Wednesday, June 13th.
Produced by watt and Happy Perez, the trap-based feel of “No Shame” is apparent due to the missing mid-range within a majority of the instrumental. The song highlights heavy snare and low-end frequencies that includes a potent deep kick. This is seen until the ending of the song when layered electric guitars are added to provide an emotional and intense ending. While the space within the song can be looked at as an empty negative aspect, it provides the perfect mood for Future and PARTYNEXTDOOR to comfortably showcase their verses and lyrics throughout.
From the start to finish of “No Shame”, Future is the prominent artist heard while PARTYNEXTDOOR contributes background vocals in the choruses. Even though Future is widely known by rapping, he delivers a different approach as he decides to sing throughout the entire song. The overall flow and feel of the verses are not too precise, as the delivery seen within the song is very loose and free-flowing.
