UPDATE: Police seize GHB (date rape drugs), guns, and other narcotics in nightclub raid.

On Wednesday night police raided Foundation nightclub, one of Seattle’s most popular clubs. The situation is still unfolding, but what we know so far is that police made drug arrests and revoked the clubs liquor license for a minimum of six months.

Without the ability to serve alcohol during this time, it is unclear whether USC will still be able to throw shows at Foundation. Clubs rely on alcohol sales for a big piece of their income, so it seems highly unlikely that this venue will still host events for now.

We will follow this breaking story as new developments surface.

Update: Cosmic Gate says the show will go on!

Cosmic Gate has just tweeted that their show will indeed go on as planned. We hope that future Foundation bookings will be able to follow.
