Trap music isn’t dead. It never was, and will never be. Just in case you thought that wasn’t true, here’s a brand new track to change your mind. This is “Switch” by FOMO. And as a forewarning, this song is next-level trap music.
The San Diego duo’s first original track starts out the door heavy, ambiguous, and dark. Ominous clocks tick as the loud bass sirens howl, and suddenly you’re pulled into a massive drop that feels like you were hit by a semi truck. Kicks and bass lines flow through Switch’s first drop so fast, the second one feels like it literally came out of nowhere. To sum it up, it’s a heavy, next-level track that is sure to give the group ample attention.
FOMO – “Switch”
Even though Switch is FOMO’s first original track, they have quite a few mixes and remixes on their Soundcloud page to listen to. The ones I listened to are really worth the listen. The most recent ones posted before “Switch” are of NGHTMRE and A$AP Ferg’s trap hit “Redlight,” “Leaving” by Ekali, a more melodic track, and “Work It Out” by Party Favor & GTA, a moombah.
