The music industry is all about having that work ethic to go with the talent. Very rarely can you have one without the other and we’ve all seen it – that dude from your neighborhood who legit had bars but didn’t have the work ethic. Simply going to the studio and posting music to streaming platforms isn’t a business model. Keeping the hustle in mind, Fo.G lets us know just how hard he’s been working in his new track “WORKIN'” featuring Anthony Eugene.
Dropping in early February, “WORKIN'” built up a solid buzz in Fo’s local streets that’s beginning to leak out into the main city of Seattle. That’s not to say Seattle is the gateway, but that’s always the next step after winning over your home city, which Fo.G has been able to do with that steady work ethic we mentioned earlier.

The production heard during “WORKIN'” is very down-tempo and lowkey, giving off some Kota The Friend vibes in a way that reassures you, like a hug saying everything will be ok. Fo.G’s flow is calm and deliberate like he’s having a conversation or holding a lecture – speaking to the crowd and wanting them to hear every word.
The track allows for deep thought than anything else. It’s a vibe that you can cruise and smoke to for sure, but something about it always loops you back around to self-contemplation. Without even realizing it you find yourself deep in thought, only to be brought back to reality by the break Anthony Eugene’s robust vocals.
Making music and content is easy. However, making good quality music and content takes time and effort that some don’t want to take. For some this works, but often not for long because there’s only so far they can go with it. Fo.G nothing like that. He is here for the long term even if it takes a long time. He knows it will be worth it if he just keeps “WORKIN’.”
