Feng Captures Love, Fame And Summer Nights On New Summer At Camp Lakepine EP

Feng Captures Love, Fame And Summer Nights On New Summer At Camp Lakepine EP

U.K. rising artist Feng is keeping their breakout year moving with the release of Summer At Camp Lakepine, a seven song EP created alongside producer Lakepine. The project follows Feng’s debut album Weekend Rockstar, but Summer At Camp Lakepine takes his music into a more personal space. Across seven tracks, Feng moves through love, lust, friendship, betrayal, and the complicated reality of experiencing success at a young age.

Created closely with Lakepine, the EP feels like Los Angeles diary. Hazy production, distorted drums, bright melodies, and woozy synths give Feng room to document different parts of his life while moving between alternative music, hip-hop, punk, and pop without settling into one lane.

Feng And Lakepine Build Their Own Summer Sound

One of the EP’s biggest moments comes with “Coachella,” a track built around heavy bass, bright keyboards, and vocals designed to feel at home in the middle of a festival crowd. Feng uses the song to capture the freedom and romantic possibilities surrounding a night out, writing about a “desert Cinderella” while turning the track into an invitation to stay out and dance. That energy runs throughout Summer At Camp Lakepine, but the project isn’t exclusively focused on having a good time.

“2023 Summer” looks backward at young love, while “Diary” examines both sides of Feng’s growing fame. The track contrasts the excitement of sudden success with the loneliness that can come with it. On “Vomit,” Feng turns toward romantic betrayal, while “Smile Through The Pain” serves as a tribute to outsiders. The seven-track collection also includes “Lets Make Out” and the previously released “Fake Friends.”

Feng introduced the project with “Fake Friends” before taking the new material directly to fans with a performance on Venice Beach.

Summer At Camp Lakepine Follows Weekend Rockstar

The new EP arrives only months after Feng released his 13 track debut album, Weekend Rockstar. Written, recorded, and mixed by Feng himself with co-production from Bilal Hamdi, the album helped establish the sound that has made him one of the more interesting young names coming out of the U.K. alternative scene.

Songs including “XOXO,” “J*b,” “Cali Crazy,” and “Firework” introduced listeners to his combination of alternative pop, underground U.K. influences, punk attitude, and melodic production. The album’s success has also taken Feng far beyond the studio.

After selling out the North American leg of the Weekend Rockstar Tour, he continued building his live presence with festival appearances at Rolling Loud, Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash, Splash!, Openair Frauenfeld, and Clout Festival.

His rise has also attracted attention outside of music. Feng was named among The FADER’s Artists to Watch in 2026 and joined its GEN F class, while also receiving recognition from Complex, Pigeons & Planes, and Ones to Watch. The 20 year old has additionally stepped into fashion as part of Vans’ “Off The Wall” campaign after appearing around Milan Fashion Week.

Feng Takes The Weekend Rockstar Tour To Europe And The U.K.

With Summer At Camp Lakepine now out, Feng is preparing for another major stretch on the road.
