Bay area rapper IAMSU hit up Neumos, for a super-hyphy / low-key ratchet, sold-out show back at the end of March and it was super crackin! Our in-the-cut photographer and video guy, @OD_1Take, was able to capture tons of great footage and even put together a short showcase with clips of the dopest tracks slapped throughout the night. Before this show I hadn’t really paid too much attention to Iamsu simply because I felt there were better rappers coming out of the bay with the same slapper DJ Mustard-type beats. After seeing him perform and tweaking to song after song, I’ve come to realize that I have been sleepin on this dude for far too long. My two favorite cuts from the night were definitely the “errythang bout me” and “I keep it 100 grand.” Those beats are too crazy and the verses are dope and catchy! Seattle showed tons of love to Iamsu and the opening artists who helped pack out the entire venue.
