Eric Ronald Holder Jr., 29, who is accused of killing LA rapper Nipsey Hussle, 33, according to a statement by spokesman Greg Risling has been indicted on one count of murder. As well as two counts of attempted murder, assault with a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
The latter two were added after it was revealed Holder also attacked his drug dealer earlier the same day he killed Nipsey, believing he had been sold laced weed. Prosecutors had previously charged Holder with the same counts but the indictment allows them to move forward without needing to have a preliminary hearing, instead of being able to go straight to trial.

Hip-hop hasn’t been feeling the same since Nipsey’s March 31st slaying. His family, friends, colleagues, fans, and community has been mourning him with an honest heavy heart since the news first came out we lost the self-made king. Snoop Dogg, who was a close friend of Hussle’s, spoke at his funeral. He encapsulated the sadness we all feel about the loss but still manages to deliver a message of encouragement, faith, respect, and love.
It has been hard, but knowing someone has been indicted and will soon be punished for their crimes helps the family of Nip maybe find some tiny comfort as they continue on in the healing process and in the great work Nipsey Hussle was doing.
