Last night at midnight, Epp and Lawz Spoken dropped a brand new album, “Suicide Doors”. Only a little over one month ago, it was a true fact that Epp had never released a solo album. Making up for lost time, Epp and Lawz Spoken began working on this project almost as soon as Epp’s debut album, “Chrome Plated Chronicles”, had been released. (Read about “Chrome Plated Chronicles” HERE ). After a month of work, “Suicide Doors” is now available on Epp’s BandCamp. This is one of the best projects I have ever listened to. Honest verses over polished beats create a dynamic album that not only comes at the listener aggressively but also invites them into the artist’s own experience. The album features Milc, Stewart Villain and Theory Hazit and is produced entirely by Lawz Spoken with album art designed by Lawz as well.
“We literally worked on this album until we posted it,” said Lawz Spoken. One thing I’ve noticed about both of these artists is their dedication to perfection. They tweak and critique track by track, until everything is the way they feel it is meant to be. They do not throw tracks onto albums carelessly. This makes them a great duo for this project. Both hard workers, they take their music seriously and leave audiences with no option but to do the same.
