Big news RMR fam! We’ve been nominated for the inaugural Emjays!
The Emjays is a black-tie cannabis industry award show set during MJBizCon on November 30th at the iconic Pearl Theater at the Palms Resort & Casino. This industry-elite event is hosted by Farechild, powered by AVD, and is officially in partnership with MJBizCon.
After sorting through thousands of cannabis industry members, Farechild and The Emjays have released the official nominations for the inaugural award ceremony. The Emjays will now gather votes from the general public and a trusted media council to ultimately decide who is worthy to take home an Emjay. The show will also feature select cannabis celebrities presenting the awards in the Las Vegas theatre.
The Respect My Region crew has been nominated for the “Social Content Creator” category of the Emjays! While we’re in the same category as some of the largest influencers in the game, we view ourselves as the group’s oddball at face value.
Never one’s to look at ourselves as influencers, yet this award had Joey and myself dwelling on how much content we put out. Over the past few years, our content has reached over 100 million individuals across various platforms and content types. A feat that we’re stoked about and honored to be recognized for!
