Droptopdre was born in Queens, New York but he and his family soon after made the move to Harlem where he lived until he was 10-years-old. While beginning to hone in on his rap skills at the young age of 8, it wasn’t until his family moved out of Harlem and into The Bronx that Dre made the decision to take his own path.
“Mood” is Dre’s third new song, a track inspired by Dre’s bittersweet feelings about the shallow and callous nature of the modern world. Lying, talking bad behind his back, spreading rumors, etc, he’s don’t with it. People are always hating on something they can’t do. So, Dre’s putting the people on notice to cut it out with a severe swiftness. Dre is in no “Mood” to keep letting these transgressions go without ample verbal punishment.
This track features a flow that hooks the listener right from the start. Able to hit a fast flow while still providing harmonic melodies, Droptopdre is dropping fire and dimes with “Mood.” Hopefully, the success of this track will put him in a better one.
