BAS kicked off his tour at the beginning of March. The stage was set for his fourth performing date, taking place at the House of Blues in San Diego.
Being a part of Dreamville’s record label gives a small insight of the talent BAS holds regarding his music. Fans recognized his dedication to music through his exceptional performance and appreciated his gratitude for their role in his success.
Prior to taking the stage, fans chanted his name loudly as the lights dimmed for his headline performance. As he took the stage the crowd erupted and began singing along.
Bas Performance Highlights

Throughout the night I was able to discover the range of Bas including a more slowed down R&B style of rap while being able to maintain a high energy side that more people are familiar with.
Notable songs that I gravitated towards after seeing him for the first time were Lit and Night Job. Mixing rap and r&b vocals along with instruments live on stage allowed me to hear his real singing voice within minimal back track. His performance was the best I’ve seen so far this year when it comes to mouth to mic.
Fan engagement was a highlight for me when it came to seeing him for the first time. In between songs he stopped and talked to fans, offered them drinks, and brought someone on stage to sing his last song of the night for their birthday with him.

The Venue
The House of Blues is located in Downtown San Diego. This venue is a music scene staple, favored for its location, space, and parking. Inside there are two levels with sitting areas offered along with a beverage bar.
Parking
There is a parking structure across the street from the venue. Being Downtown there is street parking but may be limited on a weekend night when it is the most busiest. The House of Blues is located in a spot that requires minimal walking.
