After dropping hit singles seen in “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What”, Drake has finally revealed the release date and artwork for his upcoming new album titled Scorpion. Even though he’s hinted at a June release for a while now, we thankfully don’t have to wait too much longer as we will see the arrival of the project on June 29th. See below for details:
Drake Reveals “Scorpion” Album Artwork
At this point, it’s unknown which singles will make it on the final tracklist of the new album, but the one thing that we know for sure is that Drake has taken his time putting this project together. While his previous albums More Life and Views were highly successful and cemented his place at the top of hip-hop, many can agree that his recent music hasn’t met the caliber of his older projects.
As he recovers from a huge blow in regards to the Pusha T beef, at this point Drake needs to put the drama aside and focus on releasing the best music he can possibly make. As fans, it will be interesting to see what this new album entails as the details will most likely unfold leading up to the release in a few weeks.
