After announcing that his new album Scorpion will be released on June 29th, Drake has also dropped the video to his song “I’m Upset” – where he reunites with the cast from Degrassi. Even though the song is only 3:30 in length, the video itself is almost two times longer spanning over six minutes.
While Drake is known for his rather elaborate and expansive videos especially seen in one of his latest songs “God’s Plan”, he maintains this trend with the visuals for “I’m Upset”. The video starts out with him waking up in the middle of the Raptors basketball court, which within itself is a pretty large gesture. As the video progresses, it shows him getting fitted for a suit for the Degrassi reunion.
Once at the actual reunion, Drake doesn’t take things too seriously, he’s shown enjoying his time with the people around him while turning up. While there are other side themes that ultimately impact the final conclusion of the video, we will leave it to you to enjoy the new visuals he’s presented to us.
