Less than 24 hours after Pusha T dropped his DAYTONA album featuring the highly discussed ‘Infrared’ song that took a shot at Drake and Birdman. Drake clearly heard the record and responded promptly with an entire song, ‘Duppy Freestyle,’ addressing the track with the bar “Must have had your info-red wrong, now your head in a beam.”
The record isn’t just aimed at King Push, Drizzy clearly feels some sort of way about the head of Good Music as well. Touching numerous lines that sting back at Kanye West like starts off with “I’ve done things for him I thought he would never need. Father had to stretch his hands out and get it from me.”
Addressing ghostwriting bars, what he’s done for Kanye and G.O.O.D. Music, jealousy, and questions the validity of Pusha’s drug past. The 6 God has spoken. The record starts off with Drake helplessly muttering, “I was shocked…the nerve…the audacity.” I’m shocked that Drake took a day off album mode to respond with an entire record. He snapped though. I hope we hear a response from Push immediately.
