Double AA Is Heating The Game Up With EP ‘Excommunicado’

Double AA has returned with his project titled Excommunicado. For those who aren’t familiar with his music, Double AA is a member of the Bounce Gvng – a super-producer hit team.

His EP Excommunicado spans at six tracks in length and features many collaborations with other producers. Names include Pino The Producer, Agent M, Mark Byrd, Paul Cabbin, Sir Elroy, Daniel El, Sound Junkie, and Egomi. In addition, the project takes on a John Wick theme – which is reflected in the song titles. The project itself only showcases instrumentals and the creative space that multiple producers build on the project.

One of the most striking components of Excommunicado is how different and diverse each track is throughout. Because there are so many different producers with varying styles and backgrounds, they each add a unique twist to each song. As a result, there is a wide variety of instrumentations, transitions, and many different styles are shown throughout.

Songs that stand out include “Baba Yaga Is Coming,” “The High Council,” and “Bulletproof Suit.” Although, given how creative each track is every single one stands out in its own unique way. This project has something for everyone and is a must-listen for any hip-hop head.
