There’s something about cannabis from California that has a certain mystique. I happened to get my hands on some of the Do-Si Pie strain from Buddy Buddy Indoor Natural out of the Bay. These folks are making big moves in the Bay Area with their clean indoor grow. Before I even laid eyes on the Buddy Buddy buds, I could definitely smell them.
I carried this jar around in my backpack for a few days before indulging in its contents. The container itself was all-black and had a child-proof lid. Every time I unzipped my backpack I got blasted in the face with a pungent aroma that made my mouth water. It was clear that the do-si pie strain was going to pack the punch necessary to impress me and the homies.
I found a nice heart-shaped nug that broke apart easily and revealed some light purple coloration dominating the inside of the bud. The do-si pie strain does a nice job of coming across as more of a sativa-dominant on the outside when really, it’s an indica at heart. The first hits off my pipe lifted me up and widened my eyes, while by the end I wanted to destroy a bag of chips and lay down.
While on the search for flavor, I decided to take some low-temp rips off my Ghost MV1 vape of this do-si pie strain from Buddy Buddy. Upon a couple tokes I noticed more of the minty sweet flavor that echoes to its Girl Scout Cookie origins on the Do-Si-Dos side.
