Drake comes out of nowhere with two new records in true Drizzy fashion. A surprise release with something for the streets and something for the radio, ‘God’s Plan’ holds the commercial appeal while the other slides in for those whom are fans of rappers spittin’. The second of two new records, it doesn’t quite fall in line as “street music,’ but Diplomatic Immunity holds no bars back.
Rapping over a soulful horn sample that would fit right in with the other Diplomats of music, fans can only hope this follows suit to Drake’s usual release of surprise records in bunches, shortly followed with a new album on the way. Starting off the first verse with “Cuz niggas started talking to me like I’m slowing down, opinions over statistics of course,” fans can only anticipate that Drizzy is back in the booth heavy.
