Artist Spotlight: Dillon Francis
LA Native, Dillon Francis, landed on the electronic music map in 2010 when he and Diplo released “Que Que” on Mad Decent. in 2012 he coined his most well-known catchphrase with the song I.D.G.A.F.O.S. That next year he was found on the stages of Electric Daisy Carnival, Camp Bisco, Coachella, and TomorrowWorld. His popularity soared when “Get Low” with him and DJ Snake was released in 2014, becoming his hit single from his album “Money Sucks, Friends Rule”. That track was ranked #64 on the US charts, and #5 on the US Dance charts.
Recently he’s been found on VICE’s new tv show, spoofing the life of Diplo, named “What Would Diplo Do” in which Dillon is “Jasper”, the best friend of Diplo (played by James Van Der Beek)
