Throughout the West Coast Weed Tour, we’ve tested classic strains from a bunch of brands, some hitting the mark, and some missing it. The Cure Company Diablo OG Distillate vape cartridge crossed our path for the hype surrounding its high-potency reputation. With a THC level of 94.7% and total cannabinoids at 98.22%, this product should live up to the hype.
In this official West Coast Weed Tour Review, @JoeyJayPing finds out which side of the mark the cartridge lands on.
First Impressions
The Diablo OG Distillate vape cartridge comes housed in a black and white box with the Cure Company logo and has genetics information on the back. The branding of the product is done really well. The brand put its logo on the glass of the cartridge, a smart move that separates their cartridges from others. The cartridge has a white ceramic tip that gives the product a clean look.
Cure Company has produced a lot of quality products, but on the West Coast Weed Tour we have to keep it real; the Diablo OG Distillate vape cartridge was not one of them. The top of the distillate has some very noticeable discoloration. As a consumer, this is not what you want to see. In fact, this can make a consumer question the safety of smoking the product.
One-Hit Review
Joey’s first hit brings the taste of earthiness, spice, and floral pine with hints of lavender throughout. The taste is very enjoyable, however, it’s hard to get past that discoloration in the product. Because of this indicator that the product isn’t as refined as it should be, Joey gave the Diablo OG Distillate vape cartridge a low score of 5 out of 10.
As a note to the consumer, always talk to the budtender, ask to see the packaging date, and ask to see the harvesting date. This will help you avoid getting expired or going-bad products.
