One of our favorite bands in the state launched a new single today titled “Too Bad” featuring Haiku. Decent at Best continues to keep the funk alive with each release while grabbing elements from so many places, so it’s impossible to pin them down on one “sound.” The genre-blending musicians mesh pop, rock, and hip-hop elements together all while sticking to their funky roots.
The instrumental is built around a slapping and sliding bass line and the lead singer’s vocals, leaving plenty of room for the swag to drip. While they wish they could talk about it, we wish you could press play a few times. Get your groove right for the work week with this one.
