With Bad Gyal and her litty track about being the baddest, Danny Ocean with his smooth vocals yearning for love, and everything in between, this week’s list is sure to hit the mark on all your Sonido Global needs!
Bad Gyal “Perdió Este Culo”
It’s always fun when a breakup song isn’t about sadness at all but rather living your best life. In “Perdió Este Culo” Bad Gyal is going out and having a blast with her girls instead of sulking at what’s been lost unlike her ex. Her confident energy is also apparent in the music video as Bad Gyal appears to dance the night away in multiple settings with sharp choreography.
Blessd, YOVNGCHIMI, Neutro Shorty, NLE Choppa, Pirlo, Foreign Teck “A2P”
A unique and multilingual group effort, “A2P” features talented wordsmiths of multiple urban styles. At times it’s almost difficult to detect as soon as the next artist drops a bar because they all blend and work so well and cohesively together. The music video goes from an intense storyline to clean and simple shots of Blessd, YOVNGCHIMI, Neutro Shorty, NLE Choppa, Pirlo, and Foreign Teck.
Hombres G, Carin León “Te quiero”
This love song is giving indie and folksy vibes with its classic drum set and acoustic guitar playing an upbeat melody to match feel good mood. Hombres G comes in with their rock influence and mixes it really well with Carin León’s regional Mexican sound. While only being a lyric video, the video itself is still incredibly eye pleasing with its bright color schemes, backgrounds, and artwork.
Jennifer Lopez “Rebound (feat. Anuel AA)”
From her first album in what seems like forever, “Rebound (feat. Anuel AA)” has that trademark JLo sound with R&B beats and romantic strings for a track about having no strings fun. She’s recruited the lyrical stylings of fellow Puerto Rican, Anuel AA, to add some Latin hip-hop vibes while complementing Jennifer Lopez’s vocals. If you thought this was a banger, be sure to check out the rest of This Is Me…Now.
Darell, Ozuna, Maluma “Lollipop (Remix)”
A song of sensuality, “Lollipop (Remix)” is another great group collab on the list with three distinct and talented artists. With Darell and Ozuna’s urban flows and Maluma’s melodies, this recording is an irresistible fusion. It’s got electronic beats as well that will definitely get the party going and should be in ALL the clubs.
LUANA & Aqua VS “Contrabando”
LUANA and Aqua VS come together effortlessly in “Contrabando” as they both give soft-spoken deliveries with catchy flows. This release is about risking it all and leaving the past you behind in order to evolve a future with the one you want to spend your life with. The music video also gives mellow vibes with its light blue lighting in some parts and other points where there’s minimalistic settings of just the two artists performing their craft.
Danny Ocean “AMOR”
This simple and sweet ballad comes with an uplifting beat that gives cozy weekend morning vibes. Danny Ocean has desires similar to most, which is just wanting love. As he sings along and drops a few verses, the visualizer gives a humble imagery. The singer frying up an egg is actually pretty charming, and low-key makes me want fried eggs.
With all these songs having a multifaceted blend, we hope everyone out there has found something to jam out to as this week comes to a close and we move into the weekend. Be sure to keep up with all of our Sonido Global picks on our official Spotify playlist!
