Breaking out of the 90’s hip-hop scene, Cypress Hill was the first Latino group to go platinum. Largely, their notoriety came from their flagrant endorsement of cannabis in their songs. Not to mention the group’s actual efforts towards legalization. 30 years later they continue to thrive in the music scene, and are launching a documentary this month to tell the whole tale.
After 8 years since their last release, Cypress Hill also just dropped their first record with DJ Muggs since 2004. “Elephants On Acid,” released last month on September 28th is full of psychedelic hip-hop goodness. The group seems to be embarking on a sizeable campaign following this album drop. Have a look at the teaser for their documentary below.

Starting in February B-Real, Sen Dog, DJ Muggs, Eric Bobo, Mix Master Mike, and Julio G will be heading out on a tour spanning the U.S. Aptly named the West Coast High 2019 Tour.
