Cookies Teams Up With EVIDENCE to Open Their First Cannabis Consumption Lounge in Coalinga, California

Cannabis continues to prove itself as a realistic alternative to alcohol with the introduction of consumption lounges. If Respect My Region has learned anything from recent news, the market for public weed consumption spaces is perpetually booming. Now, the mix gets even more interesting with the introduction of the first Cookies brand consumption lounge.

Cookies, the notorious premium cannabis company co-founded by Berner, is teaming up with socially conscious cultivators EVIDENCE. A subset of Ocean Grown Extracts, EVIDENCE grows and distributes their own weed from an abandoned high-security prison. They aim to remind their customers of remaining cannabis convictions in the U.S. by designing their packaging after police “EVIDENCE” bags and donating a portion of revenue to the Last Prisoner Project. Berner partnered with EVIDENCE previously to include VIBES rolling papers in every bag of EVIDENCE weed.

Reuniting once again, the two progressive companies strive to bring Coalinga, a town in Fresno County, the very first Cookies weed dispensary and consumption lounge. According to reports, this establishment should be somewhat lavish, reminiscent of a bar in many senses despite its alcohol-free policy.

What to Expect From the First Cookies Consumption Lounge

Casey Dalton of EVIDENCE shared her excitement on the partnership. “We grow cannabis in a former prison in Coalinga, so partnering with Cookies to open the very first consumption lounge in Fresno County is a dream come true.”

The consumption lounge plans to offer high quality tables and seating for 30 people. There’s also a custom-made bar, where patrons may order cannabis infused cocktails and other drinks. All of the weed offered on-site comes from the Cookies family of brands. Products from Lemonnade, Run the Jewels, Collins Ave, Grandiflora, Ocean Grown Extracts, Minntz, and EVIDENCE should be expected at the new consumption lounge alongside top shelf Cookies weed.

Because the consumption lounge is only a portion of the facility, it’s important to note cannabis use is only permitted in the lounge area. Nonetheless, this will be a place for visitors to safely and responsibly enjoy invigorating, brain-blasting weed, beverages, and food.

The consumption lounge and dispensary in Coalinga will open tomorrow, Saturday the 18th. At 10AM, Berner himself will also be making an appearance to celebrate the opening of the new business. Attendees, naturally, must be 21+ and provide valid ID. This new Cookies facility is another step forward in the process of bringing cannabis to a luxurious, fashionable atmosphere and aesthetic.
