Lilac City Gardens is a small tier two cannabis producer operating just outside of Spokane, Washington. It’s a small team that’s obsessed with quality and detail. Their brand presentation is one of my favorites in the state, each strain has a specific label with a strain description, cannabinoid info, and other vital retail info. The graphic design is done in-house, no clumsy stickers, just clean graphic design. Their Cherry Cookie strain is created by breeding Cherry Kush with GSC, this jar’s design features vibrant pink and purple colors.
Cherry Cookie provides a sweet and sour smoke partnered with an uplifting high. Cherry Cookies comes from breeding GSC with Cherry Kush. Cherry Kush is a cross of Purple Afghani and OG Kush. Looking at this strains genetic makeup, I’m not sure where the heavy sativa qualities come from, but the right combination of genetic locks tumbled into place when these two strains are bred together.
Their Cherry Cookies strain looks like a GSC family member – dense flowers with bold indigo splotches and a thin sheen of trichomes all the way to the stem. Cherry Cookie has an earthy vanilla aroma that GSC is known for and a tart cherry smell on the backend. Firing through a few bong bowls filled my mouth with sweet earthy flavors and hints of tart cherries after every exhale.
This strain provided a powerful mental buzz that made me euphoric and elevated my mood at its peak. The creative who likes to smoke or if you work from home like myself, Lilac City Gardens’ Cherry Cookie strain can make a great work aid.
