Brooklyn-based singer Cautious Clay has returned with a new single titled “REASONS.” He’s quickly gaining popularity in the game due to his hustle and experimental sound. Earlier this year, he dropped his EP titled Resonance, which garnered critical acclaim. He’s looking to maintain his forward momentum with his latest single and upcoming project.
On “REASONS,” Clay presents a different style by having short, articulate vocals over a sliced-up beat. His range is also impressive, as he quickly shifts from deep, low notes to a remarkably higher pitch throughout the track.
The production from Hudson Mohawke also complements his vocals well, as the spliced-up beat adds an experimental sound from start to finish.
