You down with “OPP?” Now, I’m not talking Naughty By Nature, I’m talking this new track by Cash Lansky. The Arizona based rapper kicks it with the big homie Death as he spits his thoughts about controversial societal issues.
The production by Caine creates a moody and dramatic beat that lingers in the background. Lansky goes hard with his dark rhymes. He switches up his flow at all the right moments, keeping me intrigued from the beginning to the end.
On top of his ill lyricism, the video is killer. Director, +jacksonkarinja, is clean with the cinematography. The serious tone of the song is offset by the humorous interactions between Cash and The Reaper. Death even spits a few bars himself while on lying on the hood of a moving car.
