The Bones of J.R. Jones, a solo project of multi-instrumentalist Jonathon Linaberry, will be beginning the first leg of his tour for his third studio release, Ones to Keep Close, with a 3 P.M. matinee gig at Seattle’s eclectic Fremont venue, High Dive May 20th. With over 20 million streams to date, The Bones of J.R. Jones brings the one-man-band experience to a chilling and captivating vibe that deserves to be examined in-person. Known for his garage-influenced soul, blues, roots, and Americana, Linaberry can take you from a fiery beat similar to early Black Keys, the Southern stroll of an acoustic riverside blues classic good for any rainy or sunny day.
Using his entire body to create the music that fuels his performance, The Bones of J.R. Jones has garnered sizable attention from the music world since the release of his first EP, The Wilderness, in 2012. With the release of his third studio album, Linaberry seeks to bring a noticeable maturity in the form, weight, and substance of his music.
You would be remiss of a moving performance if you forget to catch The Bones of J.R. Jones at High Dive in Fremont March 20th at 3 P.M. where he will be giving a visceral play-through of his newest studio effort, Ones to Keep Close. Click here for tickets.
