Blackberry Dream has to be a cross of Blackberry Kush and Blue Dream, doesn’t it? That’s what I thought too when I first saw the name. I did some research when I got home and found out that I was wrong. Apparently, Blackberry Dream is a cross between Kimbo Kush and Super Silver Haze, according to Leafly.
Located in the Yakima Valley, Orgrow utilizes a combination of indoor and outdoor grow methods to produce their cannabis. This valley, with all of its hops and grapes, also provides the perfect environment to grow cannabis outdoors.
Packaged in traditional plastic bags, Orgrow packaging has a border made out of pot leaves with a gold trim on the inside. Viewing windows exist on both sides of the packaging, but the packaging was harder to open than I expected. Usually, the plastic bags have a small perforation edges, but this one didn’t create difficulties when opening it. There is a distinct hay smell to the cannabis, similar to how it would smell in high school when it was shipped in hay bails. The nugs also felt dry.
I noticed the indica side of the strain more than the sativa side. My entire body relaxed and all of the stress from the day melted away. I lost track of time periodically. The flavor of the cannabis did not stand out to me. Even with clean bong water nothing really impressed me. I plan on trying another Orgrow product though to be sure that this was not just bad luck.
