Billie Eilish, the 16-year-old singer with a creepy pop aesthetic that is taking pop music by storm. She’s released a music video called “You Should See Me In A Crown.” In the vertical music video, she is against a beige background wearing a crown with spiders all over her face, body, and head. At one point in the video, a spider even comes out of her mouth.
Billie has been writing songs since she was just 11-years-old. The singer first started singing on Vine, the six-second video app. At age 14 she posted her first single called “Ocean Eyes” onto Soundcloud and it went viral. Billie’s brother, Finneas O’Connell, produced and co-wrote her second single “Bellyache.” Eilish’s lyrics are profound and send the message that you are in control of your own life and have the ability to remove yourself from any negative situation. Her “I don’t give a fuck” attitude is contagious, as she’s unapologetically herself.
