Craft cannabis dominated the West Coast Weed Tour’s Washington awards. These farms prioritize flavor and quality over pushing large quantities of weed. Their strains all have exquisite flavor profiles and are consumed by RMR staff on a regular basis. These are your Washington award winners.
SKöRD – Chocolatina
Opening the jar, I was hit with such an incredible medley of terpenes that ranged from earthy and skunky, to doughy and sweet. You’d think some of the flavors would contradict each other with this strain but everything smells so lovely together in an almost sweet and savory swirl.
Mad Mark – Mad Gelato
A spacey high carried me through an episode of the Mandalorian, but I spent most of the time fixated on the fish tank next to my TV. The peppery citrus flavor of the cannabis was the most potent of the Gelato’s that I’ve recently had the opportunity to smoke.
ZoZ – Miracle Whip
The Miracle Whip strain smells like a combination of cream, hops, with a slight hint of cinnamon. Almost the perfect whipping cream to place on fresh apple pie. Delicately frosted fern green nugs sit in the jar with tightly structured buds clinging to the stem.
Tranquil Forest – Mac 11
There is a sweetness to the cannabis with a subtle hint of gas. Around a single stem, buds are tightly packed together, clinging to each other and the stem. Subtle hints of purple splatter around the cannabis while a lime-colored shade of green makes up a majority of the color.
ZoZ – Orange Cake
Orange Cake really sets itself apart through the entire smoking experience. Peppery citrus aromas lead you down a smooth citrus path and is accompanied by a pleasant earthy flavor on the exhale.
