The Belltown Yacht Club threw out their anchor a few years ago on 1st Ave in Seattle, landing them in the space adjacent to the Screwdriver bar. It may sound like an uppity, exclusive, members-only type association, but it is the complete opposite. Founded by three veterans of the nightlife industry, the Yacht Club is a haven for the quirky folks, the eccentric, the artsy, and especially for misfits. On Wednesday, June 7, this unique space will host the second night of the 2023 Seattle World Tour.
About the Belltown Yacht Club
The cozy, 110-capacity showroom features some of the most rad decor for a music venue to have. The entire ceiling is covered in a variety of rock-n-roll records. When your eyes start to wander down the walls, you’ll find a ton of memorabilia with an incredible installation of deconstructed instruments on the far wall adjacent to the stage.
The stage itself is level with the floor, allowing the audience to get super close and personal with any artist or band that may be performing. Straight back from the stage sits the bar area with quite a variety of liquors available as well as some local beers and ciders on tap. Thankfully, there are two bathrooms available and the best part- you can still hear the music while in them!
The second night of the 2023 Seattle World Tour will take place at the BYC on Wednesday, June 7, with doors opening at 7:30pm. Since being remodeled, the Belltown Yacht Club has added their own separate entrance which you can access from the alley behind the building. Tickets are on sale now for $15, with prices rising to $20 if you want to pay at the door the night of. Between the small capacity and the immense talent on the lineup, you might want to get tickets sooner rather than later or risk being left out!

Jarv Dee
There are not too many folks in the Seattle scene who can say that they’ve managed to remain relevant for more than a decade. Jarv Dee is one of those artists. He has been making music, connecting with the community and boosting up the next generation for a long time. His latest releases with Bad Colours have shown yet another side of his artistry, continuing to display his ability to be diverse and consistently gain new fans. Even outside of music, Jarv supports the community by eating his way through his favorite restaurants on his video series, Bitch I’m Hungry.
Greg Kramer
As a passionate musician residing within the Seattle scene, Greg Kramer has performed, toured, and recorded with a wide variety of artists over the years including Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, The True Loves, and Sol, to name a few. The veteran trombone player infuses jazz, big band, and even hip-hop sounds all together to create a unique sound that is undefinable. His debut EP, Tell Me, is “the product of many years of growth, an evolution of the music I wanted to make,” Greg described in an interview for Earshot Jazz.
Mt Fog
Carolyn B, who records under the name Mt Fog describes their music as, “a creation of love and a response to the world’s chaos and absurdity.” Within that, their soundscape floods through your ears like a blanket of fog at twilight. The haunting melodies and electronic sounds take you to another world that “evoke magical spaces, real and imagined.” Having trained in classical violin, as well as years spent singing traditional music of the Balkans, Mt Fog produces a unique and eclectic sound which is just as much experimental as it is classical.
Oblé Reed
Oblé Reed is a young up-and-coming artist from Seattle who has made quite the impression in a short amount of time. After changing his name late last year, Oblé started releasing consistently high-quality music and videos leading up to an album release this spring. His blend of hip-hop, pop, and even some R&B tendencies has created a catchy overall sound that feels more refined and polished than of your average 22-year-old artist.
