International star bbno$ (baby-no-money) announces his new studio album, bag or die, with the release of a new single and video for “sophisticated.” The song is out now on bbno$’s label with the album following this October 21st.
This follows the recent release of “pogo,” his collaboration with Diplo last month. As well as previous singles such as the Dragon Ball Z inspired “piccolo” and the braggadocious “mathematics,” which Radio 1’s Clara Amfo championed as her Tune of the Week, adding it to the BBC Radio 1 B-list! bbno$ returns with his new single “sophisticated,” alongside details off his upcoming studio album, bag or die.
The third single from his anticipated album, bag or die, slows things down with slick production and fresh flows as he details his flashy and “sophisticated” taste and lifestyle. The single will be accompanied by a stunning video directed by long-time collaborator Shiraz. The video showcases bbno$ dripped in gorgeous attires. At the same time, he dances with a love interest in a ballroom, then hangs with a masked crew while parading around with a dancing clown. This will be another visual showcase of his unique artistic expressions.
bag or die is the seventh studio album by bbno$ and is the first complete project he’s done since his last released album, eat ya veggies. His previously release has now amassed over 1 billion streams globally across all DSPs. The album title bbno$ claims is a play on 50 Cent‘s Get Rich or Die Tryin. The album, bag or die, signifies an existing chapter for the Canadian rapper and sees him experimenting with new diverse sounds to complement his collection of music.
