Let me just start this episode off with saying that I love K?d. You can @ me, cash me outside, show me da wae, or whatever. He’s still one of my all-time favorite artists.
Whenever I follow a popular artist who’s been around for more than a few years, I hear a lot of fans start to say things like, “I wish he still made music like his old stuff.” In this case, I think K?d did just that. Although “Banshee” is an interesting collab between Wolfgang Gartner & K?d, it carries old-school K?d vibes and synthy, vibey goodness that I’ve come to know and love this artist for.
Wolfgang Gartner gives this track exactly what it needs, matching K?d’s journey of progressive sound with Gartner’s drive and intensity. These two collaborating together is definitely something special. K?d plus Wolfgang Gartner equals final boss music.

Oliver Tree is an artist I’ve been getting into fairly recently, noticing his music from shares by artists such as Whethan and Louis The Child. I couldn’t decide what song to pick off of this new EP “Alien Boy,” so I decided to just share the whole thing.
Alien Boy reminds me a little of the indie music I used to listen to growing up or the more current alternative music that I hear on stations like 107.7 The End. There’s definitely a bit of an experimental vibe going on, mixed with oddly appealing future bass sounds.
Oliver Tree is some of my favorite music to listen to these days for its weirdness, uplifting vibes, and often relatable lyrics. I’m curious to find out what you guys think about this EP. Let me know in the comments!
