Whidbey Island is one of the most beautiful places in Washington. Located in the northern part of Puget Sound, just west of Everett. This is also the home of BadAss Grass, a cannabis company beginning a new transition. Last month new ownership took over. With 25 years of on and off cannabis experience, new ownership is excited to see what the future holds. They offer a variety of strains to meet the needs of their diverse customer base. Currently, their favorite strains to grow are Critical Purple Kush and Marion Berry Kush.
Utilizing a balanced combination of imagination and horticulture expertise to produce quality products. Topicals and blunts are all produced in-house. They also have a line of concentrates produced and sold by DabX. Their strain selection is always evolving to adapt to the demand for their products.
Blunts
Badass Grass blunts are available in 2.5 or 3.5-gram variety. Each one comes in a plastic tube. A variety of flavors are available in indicas, hybrids, and sativas. I picked up a 2.5 gram Honey Boo Boo blunt. The tastefully done packaging caught my eye. The tube containing the blunt is clear. At first, I doubted that it was actually 2.5 grams, but this is one beautifully rolled blunt. Stamped onto the end of the tube is Badass Cigars. I selected Honey Boo Boo, the most indica leaning strain Buddy’s Recreational had in stock.
The smoothest prerolled blunt I’ve smoked goes to BadAss Grass. While this cannabis cigar isn’t filled with oil or kief like some of the fancy pre-rolls, it’s not a product that you should turn your nose up at. Rolled in a hemp wrap imported from Amsterdam and filled with premium cannabis. This blunt kicked my ass. I smoked it in intervals, but each time I lit it back up it was as smooth as when I set it down.
Topicals
Both a muscle rub and a lip balm are available from Badass Grass. Both of these products contain THC and CBD. The muscle rub has 200mg of THC and 20mg of CBD, while the lip balm has roughly half that. The muscle rub is perfect after a long day of hiking or a killer leg day at the gym.
