BabyTron is bringing his talents to The Observatory on February 10th as part of his highly anticipated ‘2Mega’ tour. The Detroit-based artist, known for his gritty lyrics and captivating stage presence will be joined by his rap group, the Shitty Boyz.
With strings of successful singles and mixtapes, BabyTron is quickly climbing through the ranks of the rap scene. This had earned him praise for his unique style and unapologetic authenticity. Breakout tracks like “No Hook” to his latest album releases, including MegaTron 2 and 6, Tron continues to solidify his reputation as one of underground hip-hop’s more lyrically advanced artists.

Born James Johnson, his career began in the streets of Detroit. He honed his craft amidst the city’s vibrant hip-hop scene. Known for his gritty lyricism and unfiltered storytelling, he quickly made a name for himself with his raw authentic style. His breakthrough came with the release of “Jesus Shuttlesworth” in 2019 which garnered widespread attention for its quirky beats and catchy lyrical attributes. As his fanbase continues to grow, his reputation follows. Recently leading him to working with well-known director Cole Bennet who recently dropped a video with Tron and Chicago-based rapper G Herbo.
