Babyface Wood has stepped into the foothold as Yakima’s most poppin’ hip-hop artist. The up and comer has been blowing up on popular West Coast music platform, The Thizzler, with two tracks recently being featured on their 1M+ following YouTube channel.
Together the two tracks, “No Love” and “Cold Life,” have amassed almost a million views on their own.
“No Love” features heavy hitters GB, Rico 2 Smoove, and Acito each dropping a verse that was both memorable and impressive. Their bars were delivered effortlessly and paired perfectly with a catchy hook and beat.
There’s really no doubt that this song has to go down as one of the best ever out of Yakima. And how could it not?

Babyface Woods has also been killing it as a solo artist with tracks like “Streetlightz” and “$ucca 2 A $ucca” leading his discography. His latest solo track, “Farther,” came out a few months ago and is a self-reflective heater to say the least. The video was shot by prominent Seattle videographer DrewShotIt and depicts melancholic vibes as he raps about his perspective going through life and coming up in the PNW.
This last half of the year or so will be huge for Woods as he works to leverage this current buzz and continue to build upon this success.
