Two of the most prolific names in the hip-hop x cannabis cross over world, Berner and Wiz Khalifa, fuse their premium genetics together to create a new strain called Babby Powder.
Berner’s Cookies is unarguably the most known cannabis brand in the world, spanning across four countries and over a dozen states, with 40 total storefronts. Wiz’s Khalifa Kush (KK) is a smaller craft brand whose popularity has soared since its emergence in Nevada in 2014.
As of January 2022, Cookies announced that they will be the exclusive home to Khalifa Kush. Now, Khalifa Kush has made its highly-anticipated debut in California. You can also find KK in Utah and Arizona as well as Florida and Michigan later this year.
Babby Powder Strain by Cookies x Khalifa Kush
The Babby Powder strain gets its name from its appearance. Berner states in an interview with Forbes, “we had a great time naming it, we laughed our asses off. When Mike Eps smacks that dude in the movie that nug is as frosty. The nug looked like it was covered in baby powder.” He also says that this is his favorite strain from Khalifa Kush and it’s “strong as hell.”
The strain released on March 18th in all Cookies California locations. Though not much information is currently available on the premium cultivar, Babby Powder is undoubtedly a flower worth trying if you can get your hands on it. The lineage is unknown, however, the package states that it is indoor-grown and sits around 33% THC, with less than 2% CBD. The nugs boast a vibrant canvas of purple and green hues, with loads of crystal trichomes and fiery pistils scattered throughout.
An 8th of Khalifa Kush Babby Powder goes for $60 pre-tax. To find this strain near you, head to the Cookies website to their store finder.
