Adam Harper, also known as Aydio, is a London-based musician, DJ, producer, and visual artist. His style uses electronica and various instrumental influences from hip-hop and jazz. It’s hard to put a finger on exactly what Aydio is, or in which category it belongs, with a mix of musical influence that harvests a creative and exotic sound.
Tracks like Nautilis feeling dreamy and distant, and others like Sonrisa coming off more groovy and energetic. The Surface of Revolution sounds a bit stiller and more transfixed like tripped out elevator music. Still, the low-key instrumental sounds and electronica vibes of Aydio will always leave you feeling wrapped up in a soft melodic dream.
This artist is due for some credit for these awesome instrumental trip-hop beats, and I’m looking forward to hearing his next track “Inversion” drop soon. This music makes for the sort of chill, captivating and diverse music that I can listen to for long periods of time.
