With over 100,000 followers on Soundcloud, Facebook, Twitter, and an average of 800k views on his tracks, K?d has been making a name for himself with his unique, enigmatic future bass sound.
He landed on the scene in around the middle of 2016, and through this short time has acquired multiple collaborations from largely known artists, including REZZ and Varien. In this article, I want to spotlight my personal favorite K?d tracks and the reasons why I love each one.

These two are a match made in heaven, or hell, whichever way you look at it. They’re known for their unusual textures and sometimes their dark tones that overlay most tracks they produce, so they’re they’re perfect for each other. With this track, we hear signature sounds from both K?d and REZZ, distorted 90’s synths and an eerie riser that is heard throughout the track.
2. Discover Featuring RKCB

I love a great slow intro, especially when it’s complimented with a soothing voice. RKCB does wonders on this track with his voice, it blends perfectly with the euphoric overtones that K?d gives out. It sounds like something that I’d put on my night driving playlist. My favorite part of the whole track is the 2nd pre-drop where the background “bee” noise gradually spins around from left to right, until the climax, where RKCB’s voice spins around like a carousel out of control.
3. Doing It Right (K?d Remix) – Daft Punk
[soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/262316283″ params=”color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false” width=”100%” height=”166″ iframe=”true” /]
I’m a heavy critic when it comes to Daft Punk remixes. Until this one, I’ve only liked two other Daft Punk remixes, which is Dillon Francis’ remix of Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, and Kygo’s remix of Starboy by Daft Punk and the Weeknd. This remix really highlights K?d’s abilities as a future bass producer. Euphoric melodies, risky vocal chops, and perfect sidechains are really the highlight of this track.
4. Catherine – K?d & Varien

When I started this article, this track was released only 8 hours ago. I came upon it accidentally while going through my Soundcloud page. I’ve listened to it about a dozen times already. Dark experimental tech house is pretty much the best way for me to describe it. The highlight of this track that really brings this track to life is the distorted brass in the beginning and the middle of the track.
5. Luca Lush & K?d – Colors

Luca Lush and K?d. Vanilla Ice cream and chocolate syrup. Peanut Butter and jelly. Two wonderful artists, in their own respectable ways, coming together to create something that makes me think of a brighter future and a happier life.
