Las Vegas welcomes its latest addition to the city’s seemingly never-ending entertainment and nightlife: AREA15. Rather than adding to the saturation, AREA15 brings a whole new experience to the unofficial entertainment capital of the US.
AREA15 Venue in Las Vegas
The venue features acres of indoor and outdoor out-of-this-world visuals and activities. Dubbed a thrill-seeking, immersive playground, AREA15 is an experience like no other. In fact, the venue, located just minutes from the Las Vegas strip, is the “world’s first purpose-built experiential entertainment district.”
Between live events, unique retail, art installations, food and beverages, and dozens of activities, there is certainly something for everyone at AREA15. Every corner you turn will offer something new and unexpected.
Activities
This article could not possibly highlight all of the activities offered at the mega venue. Likewise, you could not possibly get through everything in just one day. Regardless, there are a handful of experiences that are worth noting.
Haley’s Comet, an indoor hang-gliding ride, is a must to check out at the LV-based venue. It is the first indoor, electric dual-track suspension ride in the country. Additionally, Meow Wolf Omega-Mart, a supermarket experience, is also a must-visit. Moreover, visitors can enjoy activities such as axe-throwing, virtual reality adventures, golf, art galleries, zip-lining, and much more.
Food
AREA15 certainly understood the assignment. Unlike many other event venues that serve mediocre food, this top-notch venue has premium offerings when it comes to food and beverage. The main restaurant, The Beast by Todd English, is led by an award winning chef.
Events
AREA15 offers a variety of events throughout the week, from family-friendly to adult-only. These events are mostly held within either the 32,000 square-foot outdoor A-Lot or the 6,584 square-foot indoor space, The Portal. Additionally, they just added The Grounds, 4-acres of outdoor festival grounds.
The best part- AREA15 is free to enter on most days. Sunday through Thursday the venue is free to enter for everyone. Conversely, on Friday and Saturday it costs $15 at the door or $10 in advance. After 10PM, you must be 21+ to enter.
