Anderson .Paak, Earl Sweatshirt, And Thundercat Tear Down WaMu Theatre

Welp, you missed it! Anderson .Paak, Earl Sweatshirt and Thundercat just tore down the WaMu Theatre last night. Anderson, left the crowd waiting in suspense, pumping smoke onto the stage. Then a trumpet player comes out and starts soulfully playing as the rest of the musicians come on stage.

The energy and anticipation of the boiling over into screams and borderline hysteria. Out of no where fire balls consume the stage shooting out from all sides. Finally, Paak’s drum set raises up out of the stage as the crowd absolutely erupted and they just ripped into their set. They gave everything they had for nearly 90 minutes.

Eccentric and with a commanding stage presence Anderson did not disappoint. This was absolutely one of, if not the, best shows to come through Seattle this year. If this Best Teef In The Game tour is coming to your town it is a must see!

Thundercat, a bonafide headliner himself, opened up the night with a complex musical set. Packing a 6-string bass and singing soulful melodies with heavy funk grooves, Thundercat has a sound your kids and your parents can dance to.

Earl Sweatshirt surprised everyone by only playing a few songs out of his most popular hits. He did give a couple of his album cuts, but essentially played mostly all new material. Giving a high energy performance that had the crowd swelling up in anticipation of the Anderson Paak set. Ultimately the show felt like a miniature music festival and was an absolute blast.
