Aftershock Festival has been dubbed California’s biggest rock festival and will feature some incredible headlining acts this year. Over 60,000 guests attended Aftershock in 2018 and the festival has now expanded into a three-day experience spanning the weekend of October 11-13th.
Fresh off the release of their newest album and after a thirteen-year wait, Tool will join Slipknot, Rob Zombie, Blink 182, and numerous other rock acts. Also new this year is a collaboration with a BoilerMaker cocktail pop up featuring a Blackened and Enter The Night Boilermaker from Metallica, Stone Brewing, and Master Distiller Dave Pickerell. This, along with many other experiences, will only be available at Danny Wilmer Presents (DWP) music festivals.
DWP has also partnered with a concessions company to provide attendees with a wide array of food options. Guests will be able to locate traditional festival foods from pizza to more exotic options like Gerrards Paella.
Joining the main headling acts will be Staind, who return to the stage after an extended hiatus from music. Bring Me The Horizon, Lamb Of God, Bad Religion, and Japan’s BABYMETAL will also be performing.
One of the most exciting additions to this year’s event is the sponsors. A notable presence in Sacramento and for the festival is Kolas, a Sacramento cannabis retail brand with nine locations. If you need the plug on Sac’s best cannabis products, online order using their website or visit one of their impressive stores.
DWP has also teamed up with Calling All Crows. Their Here For the Music campaign aims to prevent sexual violence at music events. They provide educational services to staff and artists as well as outreach to festival attendees.
