Tacoma’s Adrian Milanio is a special talent. The R&B artist has been bubbling for the last few years. In the last few months, he has been hitting a new stride since the release of his Full Circle Moments. The artist is currently clocking just under half a million monthly listeners on Spotify and his record “Lucky” has eclipsed 4 million plays and counting.
“Lucky” was first released on Milanio’s Where You Wanna Go album. The visual was put out about a year ago. The song was so much of a vibe, he had to run it back and slide it on the Full Circle Moments track list. In talking with Milanio, he said, “At the time of “Where You Wanna Go” it was just a song that lived on the record as a filler track. I was discovering what songs had the potential to be marketed and I ended up releasing a music video to “Lucky” and I just saw the streams spike randomly during that release.”

In a world of high consumption turn and burn content, it’s nice to see examples of art finding more than one moment to shine and holding a shelf life. It’s also a testament to an artist’ that is both continuing to grow as a creative and also showcase that art can be timeless.
Milanio’s latest album glides smoothly from front to back with a cohesive R&B feel. He wasted no space on the track list to explore interludes and transitions that set-up a complete project. Throughout the album he showcases his growth over the last few years. Milanio told us “I really wanted Full Circle Moments to illustrate what my musical canvas is like. I’m an old soul at heart, singing R&B ballads is all I know, and transparently I don’t think there’s enough of that in 2023.”
There’s a deluxe version of Full Circle Moments on the way with more songs and featured artists. Fans can stay on the look out for that but in the meantime, it doesn’t seem like “Lucky” will slow down anytime soon!
