‘206’ is a good look for Seattle hip-hop. Aaron Cohen and Sam Lachow wasn’t a collaboration I’ve thought about previously, but they mesh really well. The record was produced by frequent Aaron Cohen collaborator Kemal.
Although Cohen now resides in New York, he isn’t shy about where he comes from. After spending some time away from the emerald city, we were excited to see that he has been putting up some serious numbers. Joined by Lachow, the two profess their allegiance to the 206 and created straight Seattle fire. (Fun fact: Lachow also spent time living in New York).
“They see where I’m at they don’t see where I’ve been. They don’t know what its like when you score 40 a night but your team don’t win.” – Cohen
