Looking for a festival to close out the summer with? Consider spending the last weekend of the summer in Atlanta at Music Midtown. This two-day festival takes place on September 18th and 19th at Piedmont Park in midtown. While the lineup may be shorter than most large festivals, it is packed with top-notch acts that appeal to almost any music taste and age. Making this a perfect festival for families, couples, or even just going on your own.
A variety of artists will perform at Music Midtown including Miley Cyrus, MGK, and YUNGBLUD
Music Midtown is taking it back to the early 2000’s with a few of their headliners. Maroon 5, Miley Cyrus, and Jonas Brothers will be leading the festival, with some popular hip-hop artists right behind. With Atlanta being a city known for its hip-hop scene, it’s no surprise to see 21 Savage, Megan Thee Stallion, MGK, and Jack Harlow taking stage. Aside from the popular hip-hop acts, they’re also putting on emerging rappers like Tierra Whack and Atlanta native Kenny Mason.
Music Midtown’s lineup is loaded with buzzing alternative rock and pop artists. You may recognize names from the Sirius XM Alt Nation like Gus Dapperton, Remi Wolf, Oliver Tree, YUNGBLUD, or AJR. Heck, you probably recognize some of the artists from TikTok like 24kGoldn, Masked Wolf, or Latto. If your soul’s searching for some R&B, you can catch performances from Ant Clemons or Saleka. If you’re specifically looking to rave though, this festival may not be the best choice for you.

If you’ve seen a previous version of the lineup, you would’ve found DaBaby also performing at the Atlanta festival. After his homophobic comments at Rolling Loud, he has been dropped from performing at Music Midtown. It sounds like someone will be replacing him as they stated on Instagram, “Lineup update coming soon.”
Unlike many other summer music festivals, Music Midtown is not sold out. Also unlike many other festivals, Music Midtown is pretty affordable. You can purchase 2-day general admission tickets for $135, GA+ for $305, or VIP for $650. Or, if you’re looking for the best experience possible, Super VIP for $1300 may be perfect for you.
