The wait is over as bass icons GRiZ and Belgian duo Ganja White Night release their highly anticipated single “Ease Your Mind.” Accompanied with a fully animated music video from Belgian street artist, My name is Ebo, we are launched into a familiar universe where the two artistic mediums of music and animation converge to take us through a funky psychedelic trip.
With nothing but high expectations, ‘Ease Your Mind’ does not let down. GRiZ and Ganja White Night stick to what they do best by coupling their funky and reggae-Esque beats with bass-heavy dubstep. While the track has the classic elements of any dubstep song, the trio reconceptualizes it for something more groovy.
Using an array of instruments, we see GRiZ’s style of future funk incorporated with the saxophone and electric guitar before being thrown into Ganja White Nights’ heavy wobble.
